All the main styling cues of the Alfa Romeo marque are reflected in the new Coupe 2+2 produced at the Pininfarina San Giorgio Canavese (Turin) plant.

The Alfa Brera marks Alfa Romeo’s return to thoroughbred sports cars.
Alfa Romeo’s new coupe, produced by Pininfarina at its San Giorgio Canavese (Turin) facility, made its debut way back in 2002 at the Geneva Show and, compared with the concept car presented at that time, the main line of the car has remained unchanged. The only styling difference compared with the “debutant” version is the opening of the doors that has been modified from the vertical to the conventional system for obvious reasons of practicality and industrialization costs.
Alfa Romeo seems to have elected the Brera as ambassador of its history, building various references to its glorious past into a single car. The vehicle therefore “dons” the models that preceded it, incorporating the characteristic details of the most beautiful Alfa’s, reinterpreting these in a modern key; and this is how the rear window inspired by the Giulietta Sprint must be viewed rather than the rear lighting clusters inspired by those of the 156 and 147. Alfa Brera can claim to be an ageless car, able to meld past, present and future in a single vehicle, thus challenging the concept of fashion that has become almost martial law in the last few years.
