“With the Quattroporte project, displayed for the first time at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show, Pininfarina succeeded to create a car that is at the same time sporty, elegant and clearly Italian, but above all immediately recognisable as a Maserati. I am extremely proud that this new version of the Quattroporte makes its debut in the significant United States market.” declared Andrea Pininfarina, Chairman and CEO Pininfarina S.p.A. “Moreover, I like to remember that in 2005 a further result of the collaboration between Maserati and Pininfarina was the Maserati Birdcage 75th prototype, that met with a new great success at the recent Beijing Motor Show.” concluded Andrea Pininfarina.
