Gianfranco Albertini

Gianfranco Albertini was born in Turin, on February 9, 1958.

He has a degree in Economics and Commerce from the Faculty of Economics of Turin University.

In 1979 he began work at Telettra S.p.A, the Fiat Group telecommunications company, in the field of Management control.

In 1983 he joined the Administration, Finance and Control Department of Pininfarina S.p.A., in the treasury field, working on the project to list the company on the Stock exchange.

Over the years he has filled numerous positions both in operating companies and in the parent company; in 1994 he became the Chief Administrative and Financial officer of the Group’s industrial company, Industrie Pininfarina S.p.A., in 2000 Brand Manager for the Mitsubishi client, and in 2002, Finance and Corporate Affairs Manager of Pininfarina S.p.A., as well as Secretary of the Board of Directors, and member of the Executive Committee.

Since 1997, he has been on the Technical Committee of Fidia S.p.A., the management company of the Prudentia personal investment fund, controlled by the Banca IntesaSan Paolo, Mediobanca and Unicredit banks.

He is on the Board of Directors of the subsidiary companies Pininfarina Deutschland, Pininfarina Sverige (a joint venture with Volvo), VEPB (a joint venture with the Bolloré group), Pininfarina Extra  and other group companies coordinated by Pininfarina Extra.

He has been Chief Financial Officer of the Pininfarina group since 2007, and the Manager responsible for drafting the company’s accounting documents.
