Chery Automobile and Pininfarina

In 2005 Pininfarina started a wide cooperation with Chery Automobile for the supply of design and engineering services on the development of several new models.
With the Chery M14, Pininfarina introduces in China the first Chinese car with retractable hardtop. The car is based on an advanced new rolling chassis developed by Pininfarina utilizing engines autonomously built by Chery. The Chery M14, was awarded “Best New Car” by a jury of specialized journalists at the 2005 Shanghai Motor Show.
