A dream convertible conceived and created for men and women whose lives are an exercise in understatement. The GranCabrio sums up Maserati’s ideas on the drophead car, in the purest sense of the word: from Pininfarina’s unmistakable styling to the roomy interior, the craftsmanship of every detail and the enjoyable drive and performance. The Maserati GranCabrio appeals to all the five senses in an experience enjoyed in the open air, but never overlooks the comfort and performance of a top-of-the-range model.

How

The GranCabrio continues the Maserati convertible tradition, joining models that have written the history of the Modena company.

The GranCabrio upholds this tradition, and this innovative model with its dynamic, elegant line opens a new chapter. With the roof up, the rear pillar is suggested by the particular, forward sloping line of the hood and the rear window, giving the car the appearance of a splendid coupé. With the roof down, the Maserati GranCabrio is transformed into a breath-taking convertible, revealing all its sinuous, feline beauty: the dynamic side view is accentuated by the short overhangs and long bonnet, cut by the classic V-shaped rib, stretching forward towards the grille, at the centre of which the large chrome Trident stands out.

The GranCabrio is powered by a 4.7 litre, 440 bhp V8 engine, and it is the convertible with the longest wheelbase on the market. To underline the link with Maserati tradition, the hood of the GranCabrio is only available in canvas, a stylistic and technological choice that embodies a high level of refinement.

Born to share emotions

The Maserati GranCabrio made its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2009. This new gem is the third point of the Trident, and it completes the Maserati range of three model families designed by Pininfarina: the Quattroporte saloon, the GranTurismo coupé and the GranCabrio convertible.
