For a prototype to a success model

The first prototype of Ferrari BB, 2-seater Berlinetta, was unveiled at the Turin Motor Show in 1971 and the production started in 1973. This featuring an engine with horizontal cylinders derived from racing.

Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer has a Pininfarina designed body fitted with avant-garde stylistic and technical elements: moulding of the air scoop serving as a bumper, the subdivisions of the body into big mobile elements to allow access to the mechanical parts, the air foil to direct the air-flow to the back and the use of different materials (resin, aluminium, steel) for different parts of the body.
